Sound Rewound Terms of Service
Effective September 1, 2026. These terms apply when you purchase a custom song from Sound Rewound.
The service
A $20 Custom Single includes one original custom song delivered as two MP3 versions. The versions intentionally share the same core song and may differ modestly in instrumentation, arrangement, or vocal delivery. Unless we contact you about missing information or an unexpected problem, delivery is within 24 hours after successful payment.
Creative process
Sound Rewound uses generative-AI tools under human direction and review. We use references to understand your preferences, but we do not agree to copy an existing song, lyric, melody, recording, or artist performance. Creative results are subjective, and we cannot guarantee exclusivity, chart performance, or that copyright protection will apply to every element.
Your request
You confirm that you have permission to submit the names, stories, text, and other material in your request. Do not submit unlawful, infringing, threatening, hateful, sexually exploitative, or privacy-violating material. We may decline a request and refund the payment when we cannot produce it safely or lawfully.
Delivery and storage
We deliver private listening and download links to the email address provided at checkout. You are responsible for downloading your files while the links are active. Finished tracks and active delivery links are normally deleted 30 days after delivery, as described in our Privacy Notice.
Use of delivered files
You may download, keep, share, and use the delivered files for lawful personal, non-commercial purposes. Commercial licensing is not included unless Sound Rewound confirms it separately in writing. You may not use the files to impersonate another person or falsely claim that a real artist performed or endorsed them.
Corrections, cancellations, and refunds
The purchase includes the two delivered versions and does not include unlimited revisions. If files are missing, corrupted, inaccessible, or do not match the paid order, contact us within seven days and we will correct or redeliver them. A checkout cancelled before payment is not charged. Because production is customized and begins soon after payment, other refunds are considered case by case once production has begun. Nothing in these terms limits a refund or other remedy required by law.
Service limits
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Sound Rewound is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for a paid order will not exceed the amount paid for that order. These limits do not apply where the law does not permit them.
